1. Preparation before installation
Inspection and acceptance:
Before installing the GSB series vertical high-speed centrifugal pump, it is essential to conduct a comprehensive inspection. This includes checking whether the surface of the pump body, speed increaser, motor and other components has scratches, dents or corrosion, and confirming that all fasteners such as bolts and nuts are complete and not loose. At the same time, check whether the pump model, specifications, technical parameters, etc. are consistent with the design requirements, and check whether there is a factory certificate of conformity, test report and installation and use instructions provided by the manufacturer. These documents not only provide basic information about the pump, but also contain important guidance on installation, operation and maintenance.
Foundation preparation:
The installation foundation of the pump is the basis for ensuring its stable operation. The foundation should be flat and crack-free, and the bearing capacity must meet the weight of the pump and the vibration requirements during operation. Before installation, the foundation should be cleaned to ensure that there is no debris, oil stains, etc. According to the size and weight of the pump, select a suitable shock pad or shock absorber to reduce the impact of vibration and noise generated by the pump during operation on the surrounding environment. The selection of shock-absorbing pads should take into account factors such as its material, hardness, and thickness to ensure that it can effectively absorb vibration energy.
Tool and material preparation:
Various tools, measuring tools, and auxiliary materials are required during the installation process. Therefore, before installation, these items should be prepared in advance, such as lifting equipment (such as cranes, hoists, etc.), wrenches, screwdrivers, rulers, levels, bolts, gaskets, sealants, etc. Ensure that the quality of these tools and materials is reliable and the quantity is sufficient so that the installation process can proceed smoothly.
2. Precautions during the installation process
Pump body installation:
The installation of the pump body is a key link in the entire installation process. When the pump body is lifted and placed on the foundation, it should be ensured that the pump body is stable and without shaking. The inlet and outlet flanges of the pump body and the pipeline flange should be kept on the same horizontal line and aligned without deflection. This can be achieved by measuring and adjusting with tools such as a level. When inserting the anchor bolts for preliminary fixing, attention should be paid to the tightening sequence and strength of the bolts to avoid over-tightening or over-loosening. At the same time, check whether the gap between the pump body and the foundation is uniform to ensure that the pump body will not vibrate due to uneven force during operation.
Speed increaser and motor installation:
The correct installation of the speed increaser and motor is essential for the efficient operation of the pump. During the installation process, the appropriate coupling should be selected according to the transmission mode of the pump, and the coupling should be well aligned. The centering error of the coupling should be within the allowable range to avoid vibration and noise caused by different axes. At the same time, check whether the coaxiality of the motor shaft and the speed increaser input shaft meets the requirements. When installing the motor, you should also pay attention to the wiring method and grounding of the motor to ensure that the electrical connection is correct and safe and reliable.
Pipeline connection:
The connection of the pipeline is the key to ensure smooth flow between the pump and the conveying system. When connecting the inlet and outlet pipelines, ensure that the flanges are aligned and the bolts are tightened evenly. In order to avoid damage to the pump body caused by pipeline stress, a special support should be set to bear the weight and vibration of the pipeline. At the same time, you should also pay attention to whether the material and specifications of the pipeline meet the requirements of the conveying medium. During the connection process, appropriate sealing materials (such as gaskets) should be used to ensure good sealing of the pipeline. In addition, to prevent backflow and reversal after the pump stops, a check valve should be installed on the outlet pipeline.
Lubrication system installation:
For pumps that require lubrication (such as speed increaser), the installation of the lubrication system is equally important. During the installation process, appropriate lubricating oil and lubrication system components (such as oil cooler, oil filter, etc.) should be selected according to the lubrication requirements of the pump. When installing the oil cooler and oil filter, ensure that
their installation positions are reasonable and easy to maintain. At the same time, the physical and chemical properties of the lubricating oil should be checked to see if they meet the requirements, and injected into the speed increaser after three-stage filtration. When injecting the lubricating oil, attention should also be paid to the oil level and the cleanliness of the oil to ensure good lubrication.
Electrical connection:
The electrical connection is the power source for the normal operation of the pump. When connecting the motor, follow the motor installation and operating instructions. First, check whether the motor's terminal box is intact and dry inside without moisture; then correctly connect the power line and grounding wire to the motor according to the wiring diagram; finally, check whether all wiring is firm and reliable and meets electrical safety specifications. During the connection process, care should also be taken to avoid contact between the power cord and the pump body or other metal parts to avoid short circuits or electric shock accidents.
3. Inspection and debugging after installation
Static inspection:
After installation, the pump should be statically inspected to confirm its installation quality. This includes checking whether all fasteners are tightened in place; whether the pipe connections are leak-free; whether the electrical connections are correct; and whether the pump body, speed increaser, motor and other components are in good condition without damage or abnormalities. Through static inspection, possible problems in the installation process can be discovered and corrected in time to lay the foundation for subsequent debugging.
Dynamic debugging:
Dynamic debugging is an important part of testing the operating performance of the pump. Start the motor under no load and observe whether the pump's direction is correct and whether the operation is smooth without abnormal vibration and noise. If a problem is found, the machine should be stopped in time for inspection and troubleshooting before debugging. Then gradually load to the rated operating conditions and observe whether the pump's flow, head, current and other parameters meet the requirements.
